The Interior Design Department of the Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti held a Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Dean of Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Sangayu Ketut Laksemi Nilotama, M.Ds., accompanied by the deans, and warmly welcomed by the attending students and faculty members. The exhibition showcased the works of students from the Interior Design Program at Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti. It took place from March 15th to March 31st, 2023, on the 2nd floor of Building R, at Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti. This exhibition was organized again after a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The showcased artworks were the results of the mandatory courses in the Interior Design Program.

Resky Annisa Damayanti, S.Ds., M.Ds., as head of the Interior Design Program and also the chief executive of the exhibition organizer, stated in her speech that besides showcasing students’ works, this student art exhibition is part of the curriculum evaluation program that will be updated in the upcoming semester. This curriculum also supports the concept of a liberated campus, and these works are a result of the students’ hard work. With the exhibition being held, Resky hopes that students can become more independent and continue to sharpen their creativity.

The Dean of Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti, in his speech, mentioned that these exhibition works are the result of a long process of assistance and the students’ hard work, which has produced the best artworks. Therefore, these works should not just be stored, but also exhibited. This event also serves as a platform for networking and sharing knowledge about interior design.

It is expected that this exhibition will enhance the creativity and quality of the Interior Design Program, as well as the pride of the Interior Design Department at Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti.
