Interior Design Universitas Trisakti followed the activities of the Student Interior Design  of Indonesia (TKMDII XVI) by acting as the host ISI Yogyakarta, 11-14 October 2023.

The event, which is held regularly every two years, is also attended by representatives of 23 colleges in Indonesia. As for the various activities of the 16th TKMDII, which were carried out among others: excursions, exhibitions of student works and new works, workshops, congresses, seminars, talkshows, meetings of lecturers, and the Head of Interior Design Studies Program across Indonesia, the closing of which was the performance of the student band Interior Design Universitas Trisakti, Pengab-DI band.

The exhibition itself consists of the exhibitions of Delegation New Works (KBD), New Joint Works (KBB), and Studio New Work (KBS). Each exhibit will exhibit the work of each delegation in a different form. As with the new work of the delegation (KDB), each delegate has the right to show the results of the design of the residential space.

It is not only intended for Prodi Interior Design students, but its exhibition activities are open to the general public in the hope of showcasing the form of learning and introduction related to the study or graduate program as well as interior design services to the local community.

Based on the outcome of the decision taken at the XVI TKMDII congress in ISI Yogyakarta, for the next two years, the Christian University of Petra was chosen as the next host of the TCMDII.
