The Interior Design faculty members appeared as speakers in the Parallel Session of the International CEO Social Sciences Congress.

A total of 2 faculty members from the Interior Design program, along with a team of faculty members and students, participated in the International Congress with the theme “Assuring Business Transformation after the Covid-19 Pandemic which Supports the Global Goals.” The congress took place from June 16th to 18th, 2023, at Acacia University in Arizona, USA, both in-person and online.

In this event, Universitas Trisakti acted as the co-host in collaboration with IPMI School of Business and Management. The Interior Design program team was led by Dr. Asih Retno Dewanti MDs, MPd, presenting a paper titled “Effectiveness of Project-Based Instructional Models for Shop & Store Interior Design Courses, Faculty of Art and Design, Universitas Trisakti.” Another faculty member, Layla Nurina Kartika Iskandar, SDs, MDs, presented a paper titled “Aesthetics Design and The Meaning of Cultural Acculturation in The Islamic Center Mosque in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.”

By participating in this international congress, the aim is to enhance the reputation of the Interior Design program as a reliable program with international standards. It also encourages faculty members to continue developing their research performance and publish their work internationally. The research outcomes from the faculty members in the Interior Design program at the FSRD, Universitas Trisakti, can serve as a reference for other universities abroad.
