Interior Design FSRD Usakti Delegation Held Pre-Event Webinar TKMDII XV

Interior Design students and students held a webinar in the context of the XV Indonesian Interior Design Student Work Gathering Pre-Event (TKMDII). TKMDII is a national event for Interior Design students throughout Indonesia which is held every 2 years. Even though this time it was held online, the Interior Design Students of FSRD Usakti wanted to keep this activity lively, namely by holding pre-event webinars and also charity programs.

The TKMDII webinar “Disability Awareness On Interior Design: Make Them Feel Comfort Like We Do” is a positive activity initiated by students and college students with the aim of increasing public awareness and broadening the knowledge of aspiring young designers on how to design facilities for persons with disabilities and the results of the designs that will later be created can contribute to improving the welfare of persons with disabilities. This webinar is a form of concern for students and students towards people with disabilities which will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 09.00 – 11.30 WIB with speakers namely Irma Rosalia Handayani, ST as Founder, Owner, CEO of NR Group Indonesia Principal Architect and also attended by the Dean of FSRD Usakti, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Chair and Secretary of the Interior Design Study Program, as well as a number of lecturers and students from inside and outside Usakti.

In addition, at this event, representatives from the SLB Special Education School were also present who also appreciated the good intentions of the students in this webinar and charity program by donating a set of Portable Sinks specially designed by students and students of the Interior Design Study Program FSRD Usakti for the Santi Rama Foundation.

Hopefully, holding this event can increase enthusiasm, motivation, and inspire other participants or aspiring young designers to create creative and innovative designs so that users with special needs can feel comfortable in a space, either in their own residential area or in other areas of their home. public area.
